My name is Tresa Scotch and I have been a practicing Speech/Language Pathologist for over 15 years. I began my career in upstate New York working in a school-based program for children with severe impairments before transitioning to the Assistive Technology Department for the Board of Cooperative Education Services (BOCES). Working with BOCES, I was able to focus on the use of Assistive Technology as educational supports, as well as the use of Augmentative and Alternative Communication devices to support overall communication needs. In 2011, I made the move to Florida and transitioned into private therapy services in 2013. In both educational and medical settings, the focus of my career has been to build communication skills in order to improve the quality of life for my students and clients. My primary area of expertise is in working with individuals with Autism and the unique communication and behavioral challenges they experience.
